Global temperatures are constantly rising due to climate change. Due to this, various kinds of pressures are coming on the planet and severe environmental conditions like storms and floods

are being witnessed regularly.

According to a recent research report published in the English journal Trends in Ecology and EvolutionEvolution, climate change affects not only humans but also animals and they are forced to adapt to it.

Research has shown that some warm-blooded animals change their appearance. These changes include the shape of the bird's beak, feet and ears. The goal is to better manage the temperature of your body as the air temperature rises.

According to Sarah Riding, author of the study and a researcher at Deakin University in Australia, the time has come for us to realize that animals also need to adapt to climate change.climate change.

The report says that with the increase in temperature in summer, the beak size of many species of Australian parrots increases by 4 to 10%. This situation has been going on since 1871.

Similarly, an increase in the beak of dark-eyed juncos found in North America is associated with a short-term increase in temperature in cold climates. In addition, changes have been reported in mammals. Researchers have found that an increase in temperature increases the tail length of wood-cutting mice and the tail volume of shrews, such as mice born in northern Europe.

Researchers plan to use 3D scans to investigate changes in the appearance of Australian birds. In this regard, samples of birds from the last 100 years will be collected in the museum.
